This is Steinel’s short-barrel 9mm self-defense load.  While standard “cup and core” jacketed hollow points have been relied upon for decades, this load takes advantage of modern CNC and EDM technologies in producing the perfect defensive bullet.  These Solid Copper Hollow Points (SCHP) from Maker expand to an average diameter of over .65″ even when fired from barrel lengths commonly found in today’s sub-compact pistols.  This load passes the FBI standard ballistics gel test- even when fired from a Kahr PM9 (3″ barrel).

This load is suitable for all barrel lengths- including the 16″ Ruger PC Carbine.  As with all self-defense loads: test this ammo through your weapon(s) prior to carrying- particularly if you have made modifications.

Due to brass availability, standard non-nickel-plated brass is used.
